How is your flock today?

Wow, they sound like the perfect chicken!! And pretty, to boot!
I bought my start as hatching egg's off of ebay from someone there that goes by skywalker. I picked the one there that said buy it now, not one of the one's that people are bidding on.

Has anyone ponied up the bucks for Greenfire Farm's birds? $29 each sounds steep, but I have heard they are very good quality.

 I should not be thinking about adding to my flock, I should not be thinking, I should not...
That skywalker got his start for 2 different import year's that Greenfire did, and he ship's his hatching egg's out of Chicago.

I'm losing this thread so I'm bumping it again.
Hi all! :frow
Yesterday I rehomed my Buff Brahma. Everytime I let him out to exercise he would just pick fights at the fences so time was wasted. Not good for anybody 🐓 and I hated the bruising and blood. He did great solo... so now he has a beautiful place w/ good people and a flock of 14 of his very own. Yippee for Ivan! I am happy for him. Going through his micro quarantine and meet and greet now. Bye -bye Ivan! ♡

I have 2.5 of his sons and I guess can always order again if I want to breed pure. He is a good boy, just distracted by other boys.

Bolt has been enjoying his freedom and even roosted in the main coop last eve. We shall see how this morning goes....

Re set the rat trap as the neighbors junk pile rats have taken up residence under our shop and been stealing food from rooster coop. Been needing to work on boys set up. Will trap while the rats have their freeway still. Plus empty and lockable for traps. Then button up and reconfigure it for easier hop up after this problem is disposed of. Right now, that is a great plan. Let's see if the boys will let it hold.

@TropicalBabies Are you sure that you lost the thread, or was it because it was time to wake up @416bigbore again? :gigThanks' for sharing your pictures. I'm sure that your rehomed rooster will be happier, and hope that you get that rat problem taken care of.
