How is your flock today?

@ blue . Hows them eggs? ♡♡♡
They are still in the incubator's. I slept in a little later this morning as I knew that the neighbor's would be back home and I wouldn't have to go over there to check on those animal's. I did go check the incubator's to make sure that the humidity was right, and added a little more water to the duck one. Drinking my coffee now, and checking my email's, and notices on here.

Yeah, but it will be the strongest one with the coolest name. 💪😉
I'm thinking of naming the first girl that hatches "Ruthie" after the old duck lady of the French Quarter's in New Orlean's. She bumbed a few cigarettes' off of me year's ago. She has since died. She would be on roller skates on Bourbon Street with baby duckling's running along behind her trying to keep up.

See...? Coolest name ♡ I love that!
I have gone through phases with names. First set of chooks were flowers, second was movie stars and third and the one I have settled on is admired women. Though it did hurt double when I lost Joan of Arc. 😭😭😭

I haven't named any of my chickens after anyone yet for just that reason. I'm also afraid I'll name a chick after someone special, and have it be a cockerel I have to get rid of, or a brat girl who isn't very nice.
