How is your flock today?

I've heard that Orpington's can be pretty broody too as a breed, but lay bigger egg's.

Speaking of bigger egg's, I need to get some of those jumbo sized egg cartons, and Stromberg's has them on sale this week. I just got an email from them letting me know. I have a Naked Neck hen that lay's egg's too big to close the lid on the large sized one's properly. That's why I didn't want to add her egg's to my incubator tomorrow night.
I need to float all the eggs from that hidden nest. I'm probably not going to incubate any of them because my two gamehens were laying there and I want to keep as much Orpington blood as I can

I know what hen layed what egg on most of my girl's by the shapes and color's of the egg's. Even the one's that are more towards the tan side will have different shades of it going on. I have a Naked Neck hen of mixed breed that lay's a nice large sized green egg. Then there's a white Naked Neck that is mixed with the White Breese, and she lay's a nice tan egg.
