If thing's got that bad I would not eat my pet's, but would be guarding them from other's who would want to. I can't tell you what I would be eating in that case then, or at least my dog would have a few good meal's. :gig

I wish that I would have had a camera with me out there a bit ago. I saved the bigger legbones of my roast chicken last night and had it in a bowl. Then I broke up some bread crumb's because there wasn't enough bones for all of the flock. I tossed out the bread crumbs first, and then the leg bone's that were on the bottom. What I needed the camera time for was that the Silver Grey Dorking boy grabbed a leg bone in his beak and was running around the coop and run with it, and the other's chasing him. He looked so funny!

oh yeah not a chance with my dog. he is my other half (dont tell SO) and I'd starve with him if we had to. I'm just talking end of the world farm animal stuff, not pets. there's a TON of shit to eat here before we get to that point, including deer that run through the back of the property.

Yes, for those that were wanting to get chick's from the hatchery. I'm glad that I'm not trying to look for any shipment right now. My Silver Grey Dorking's did come from Murry McMurry's though. The only new one's that I would be looking for would be more of the yellow legged buff colored Naked Neck's, and no hatchery can grantee that I would be sent only the specific color. So, later I will just keep checking the feed stores and my local Craigslist here.
