How is your flock today?

Pics
I sold quite a few. I was keeping track in a document- just erasing birds that were gone so it was just the birds I still had- and it says I should have one more than I do but... i have vague memories of selling one of Foghorn's hens but my notes say I didnt

Yeah I think I'm just gunna take today's eggs and give them to my broody instead of breaking her lol
but they're American game mixed with Orpington so they're not exactly the chicks everyone wants lol
Is it possible something got her?

my McM order doesn't come in until May. they were sold out until then.

so another fun flock thing today....View attachment 2535876View attachment 2535878

someone's been hiding eggs from me
Were all the eggs good when you floated them? I had a similar experience years ago, I had about 25 hens in an old house for the winter and didn't realize a few of those sneaky turkeys where getting up into the ceiling to lay their eggs.

So when I did get around to tearing the old house down the next fall I was very surprised at how many eggs where up in the ceiling. There was a small piece of old sheet rock that had fallen down and that is all it took for them to get up there.

Monsoon season has passed and first real nice sunny day for the ducks sitting on top of a pile of used goat straw bedding that I was cleaning out. They didn't care it didn't smell very nice! :gig

@BlueBaby Crazy weather for sure all around the country. We are getting ready for a new baby goat in a few days and or week and it would be nice to have the weather cooperating. It will be her first one so hopefully we wont have to fight the weather also if things don't go smoothly.

I have been looking at different incubators and will PM you later with a few questions if that would be okay with you. :) I am going to buy one and just want to make sure I buy the right size of machine for what we have going on.
