How is your flock today?

My girls at first before he was old enough for them to recognize him as the Rooster. The 4 girls still jump up at me when I walk in the coop with a food dish and maybe , he don't like that? So he thinks he needs to be aggressive?

Maybe it's my charming personality he don't like?

@BlueBaby For curiosity, I just went and candled a few eggs. LOL One egg for sure is fine with an air cell I can see, the other two eggs are dark on the top and it's like I see liquid and no air cell that is noticeable?

I really wish I would have weighed the eggs first to know for sure they are losing enough weight to make sure there is a large enough air cell for the chicks to hatch.

Just a thought--I'm fairly new to chickens, and thought some of my incubated eggs didn't have an air cell. When I used a stronger flashlight and moved it all over the surface of the eggs I found it.

I can't really tell you, as I can't see what it is that you are looking at.

That is my biggest problem candling them. I have a very bright light, it'd just trying to hold the egg just right to know for sure what I am seeing. Will a few hatches under my bely, I am sure I will figure it out. LOL

One feature I liked about the 360 is it has a candle light built into the machine on top, so maybe that will help me see things better.

Hello welcome. I have a really good led 310 Lumens light, its just my big hands and sausage figures that makes it hard for me to hold onto the small egg and look at it without dropping the dang thing!
