Ruffus and Big Boy
It's so funny you say that about humor, I so can agree, too many sticks in the mud in this crazy world these days.A good sense of humor is so rare to find these day's. I just got back from next door checking on their animal's for them since it's so hot now. I made sure that the waterers were all topped off. He can feed them when he gets home from work. She's supposed to come home from Florida on Tuesday the 15th.
My flock is doing ok, including the 5 little one's in the grow-out pen. All 3 of the waterer's are full (plus 2 more bowl's of water for the rooster and the chick's), and the 2 wading tub's have water for them to stand in also. I'll be taking some ice out there to drop into the waterer's for them soon. I put the rooster in his own pen to give the girl's a break from his affection's in this heat.
If you get a bunch of rain over your way, don't forget to send some of it over here to me.
Life throws me lemons.....And I make lemonade and chase it with a little 1800 and a shot of salt! LMAO That is how this Old Country Boy Survives! I think there is a song about me some place! LOL I have yet to hear this song...... Pull up those Old Boot Stapes and trudge on! LOL Maybe Kid Rock will consider it the next time I see him!

You have crazy heat and we have crazy humidity..... trade you! LOL Yes I to have been changing out the water more often during the day. I like fresh water when it's super hot, so why wouldn't the animals ,,,,,,not?
Glad to hear your flock is doing ok, just curious now since I lost count, how many do you have in all with your project? Do you have anymore fertile eggs in the cooker?
All this rain these last few days have done nothing but delay my outdoor projects. The Ducks love it, but then again they are not responsible for having to making money to buy their feed either! LOL
With all thus wet weather again, I am wearing the tread off my new Muck boots!
