You should have lot's of mire and puddles, the way I seen on the new's that the monsoon hit you. The ground in my yard is wet, but no big standing puddles. I guess that will be enough to keep the dust down though.

I think that the fly parasites are working, the chickens laid an egg out on the bedding and when I picked it up a tiny little winged ant looking thing was crawling on it. Go little predators! The duck yard is under water almost completely. The only thing that area is good for is ducks! The first year we were here, it was a total lake when it rained, now we have added some drainage ditches to flush out the duck muck. It is not sunny enough for a garden, and the dirt is completely packed down from 100 years of trucks driving and parking there. But, it is a duck paradise! Shady, wet & muddy with no rocks to hurt the web feet.
