How is your flock today?

My grandma (RIP) taught me well. :love I loved her cooking and when she was explaining what she was fixing for dinner...... I paid attention! LOL :)
K. That's pretty darn cool. I have not had the good fortune to date a man who likes to cook but it sure would be nice. Hope your GF enjoys her good fortune 😄

I knew a lady before that said that she married her husband because he could bake good bread.
 
I started out with that breed. The hen's are known to be broody, but watch out for mean human aggressive rooster's.
I have 3 BA hens. They are nice, quiet, lay med-large eggs. They're 21 months old, never went broody. We'll see what happens next spring/summer. I don't know anything about the roos, though.
