Me too! Think I'll just set a couple traps so I can start laughing without crying. I'm REALLY hoping my cats took that thing on.

How have you been doing, and how is your flock?

We're all pretty good here!

The subflock of pullets has undergone a change in leadership, I believe. Stormy used to be alpha, but I think May has taken over. I saw a bunch of peck marks on Stormy's comb (nothing to worry about), and I see May warn her away from the treat plate. So I take in even more treat plates when it's chickie snack time now. Use to be 3, now it's 4.

Stormy has the better personality of the two. She and Little (top hen of the original flock) are my favorites for personality (don't tell the others!), and I think they'd get on my lap if it weren't for Darl, my roo.

Better enough that he's still alive! I still push him away with the stick. And keep my eye on him.
