    Hi All,
I'm a newbie to hatching. I have only done 1 clutch of 24 eggs and got 3 chicks. I think the problem was trying to get the initial temperature of the incubator correct before putting in the eggs - may have put them in too early and took a few days for stasis.
I am working with a preschool who wants to incubate eggs. I am having trouble locating fertile eggs. The local person never calls me back. Is there a "season" for chicks? I imagine some of it depends on where the chicks can be kept if the weather gets cold?

I hatch year round'. I find it is easier to keep them warm than it is to keep them cool enough in the summer time..[IMG]
