If you do this, be sure to quarantiine it for a month to be sure you're not introducing l7ce, mites, worms or any illness into your flock. Change clothes and shoes and wash hands, and change clothes before handling your chickens after handling the new chicken.

All birds survived the trip and they shipped around 11:30pm the day before hatch, and arrived around 1:30pm the next afternoon

Are you saying they shipped your chicks as eggs???

Just an update, all are hens. The Easter egger laid her first GREEN egg yesterday. It’s a moss/olive color. No eggs from the others so far.

One of the EE here just started laying green eggs too. Ahead of her 2 hatch mates. She's being very prolific. Nearly one a day!

She did lay a green egg! I actually wonder if she’s an olive egger as that’s basically the color of the egg she laid.

Just funny because they sell olive eggers, but I ordered an Easter egger. Not that they’re that different, but I didn’t expect Olive. I thought if it was green it would be more bluish green. I’m just thrilled she’s laying colored eggs and I think she’s super pretty
