how long after molting........

do hens start laying again???? mine are working on week 2 or 3

Yikes - I'm hoping not that long. I would like the answer to this question also. My EE is molting something fierce (I think I've heard the term pillow fight used) and I want to also know how long the molt will last.

My bantam RIRs took 4 weeks EXACTLY to the day to start laying again. But they're laying more eggs than before the molt, if that's any consolation.... No one ever told me about the freaky pin feather things that stick out like porcupine quills before the feathers actually come out!
