How long before fertile eggs look fertile?

I forgot to collect yesterday's eggs and today a hen is sitting on them. Are they still good to collect and eat or wll the veins and stuff have started to develop?

just crack open in a dish before use

any blood and chuck them away

Ok! They lay late in the day so... Here is hoping! I left her two. She is vicious! Way worse than my australorp mom.
