Do the veins start to change. Set four emergency eggs for a friend and I am unsure when their hatch day should be and when.to start lockdown.

If it were me I would candle them and see how much space is in the egg. What does it look like. A chick ready to hatch will have a full shell and you will hardly be able to see anything but a blob shadow that moves a bit.

What does the inside look like? If you can describe what you see I can take a better guess

One egg is almost 7/8 solid dark mass with enough movement to show life but acts cramped. The other three are about 3/4 solid as I can still see quite abit of movement like there is still room to grow. I will try to get pictures tomorrow as I am typing on a cell phone because my computer crashed. Lol. They are bantam eggs if that helps.
