how long can you hold eggs before setting in incubator and storage?

i have three batchs of eggs being mailed to me they should be arriving mon-wed of next week. where is best place to store them before placing in the incubator this is my first time with mailed eggs??

Keep them at about 50-55 degrees. Turn them once a day. Since they are shipped eggs, I wouldnt let them sit for more than 2-3 days max.

Now, I've had more luck with eggs at 40-45 degrees, I use a cool closet then they don't get bumped. I all ways let shipped eggs rest for 12-24 hrs, they need to settle

as buck creek said let them "rest" before you put them in the incubator. Shipped eggs can get turned, shaken etc etc in transit. We just put them in an egg carton, pointy end down they day they arrive and put them in the next day.
