How long do I leave the eggs in the incubator after hatch date?

i let them set for 3 days. if they don't hatch by day 24 i take them out.

Depends on your incubator temps over the hatch. Were they low or inconsistent? Either could lead to a much later hatch than the traditional period. We've seen threads where they hatched at 24 and 25 days even.

As long as you dont have something waiting to fill the spaces you can leave them as long as you want. I usually leave at least a couple days after the last chick has hatched, I have had guineas hatch anywhere from 25-31 days, so allow for early or late hatches when planning on putting in new eggs.
