I had a pair of Modenas that were setting on their eggs for about 10 days then somehow broke them so I put some other eggs that were just laid by another pair (I was selling this pair) in their nest, will they stay on them till they hatch or will they leave the nest because it will be over 18 days?

They will eventually give up and abandon the eggs.
I give mine wooden eggs just so they don't go through the hassel of laying more. If you remove their eggs they will just lay more and start all over again.

It depends upon the pair. They may or may not set another 18 days. If they do I am not certain that they will produce the necessary "pigeon milk" for the squabs. If you just toss the eggs they will recycle in approximately 10 days. I don't know about modenas, but 10 days is the usual re nest laying cycle for Birmingham rollers.
