How long do they practice??

What does her ‘voice’ sound like? Is she getting that ‘honking’ type squawking going on? Or still cheeping?

No cheeping. She sounds like everyone else when they are gonna lay, kinda frantic and noisy

I don’t think so. I’ve watched her go in, sit for a while in her favourite nest and eventually leave as though she’s laid an egg. Never an egg. And if she is eating them she is leaving absolutely zero trace lol. And I don’t think she’s laying anywhere else. It’s very weird.

I have read from others that egg eaters leave no trace. Do you have fake eggs/golf balls in the nests? Maybe worth trying to deter egg eating in case it is that.
