If you want to change to layer feed, 18 weeks will be fine. If you still have chick feed left, finish that up.

I feed 20% non medicated starter-grower from day one and never change. I have oyster shell in a separate container for the laying hens. Others on here feed an all flock feed, with oyster shell in a separate container.
