How long do you let them refuse to eat a new food?

7 birds should eat just under two lbs of food a day including scratch and other stuff. If they are full grown a 50 lb bag of feed should last about 4 weeks.

I took one of the threads some time ago and did sort of a compilation of how much food backyard flocks eat and three to 5 ounces was the norm. most were in the range of three ounces.

Our birds will eat more some days and some days none! I would not worry about them, they will eat when hungry (like kids)
