How long does hatching process take?

Three are moving and one looks like there is a dark ring of blood. It was the one that was moving the most on Monday. :( The other three are just black with with their air cells at the bottom and I can't see anything. My humidity dropped by removing the lid to 70% should I still take more water out?

Don't get discourage, there still may be HOPE.. OK no smart phone. Ok lets see. Dipping is when the air cell dips to one side. When you first start you will notice the air cell is up at the top, three days before hatching it takes a HUGE dip to one side.. we may have to safe hole them tomorrow but lets just see if we can get that humidity down, IF they are still alive, once you lower that humidity, you will see them move again.

One was dipped down for sure but the others were not. Thank you so much for your help! The worst feeling in the world is knowing that there may be a chance and no one is there to help you through! Thank you a million times!!

OK THERE"S STILL HOPE. WOOO HOO...

70% is OK, I prefer 65% but I'm afraid if we take to much out at this point they are going shrink, so keep at around 70% and lets see what they do in the next day..

usually they move ALOT two days before hatching and on the third day they COMPLETELY STOP. Sounds like they are in there STOPPING STAGE. that's good. they stop to take a day of rest. I think your GOING to be OK.

WOOO HOOOO....

OH GOOD, for the One, HOPEFULLY that one will successfully make it out. Once he does GUESS WHAT, if the others are still alive, it will be like Dominos. BOOM BOOOM BOOM. the others will follow behind..

Don't worry, I think your going to be OK.

I am worried that they are all disoriented now because of the candling. Will they be okay?

LOL, don't worry about that. I candle my eggs Almost every single day. and I'm not kidding. I am a candling FREAK. I love watching them move around there. RIght now we have to worry about Two things. One Shrink wrap or Two Sticky..

With what you described about them being so dark, tells me they are not sticky. If they were you would see a lot of Clear space.. I doubt it if they are shrink wrap because you have had your humidity up to high to even begin shrinking..

I'm pretty sure once you get that humidity down, your gonna see those little stinker bouncing around again.

Thank you! That gives me some comfort. I guess the next two days will tell. This is more stressful than when I had my own human baby!!

LOL, funny part is you haven't hit the stressful stage yet. OMG, imagine have a call duck start zipping away get half way done and BOOM, dies. NOW that's stressful, leaves you looking at the bator saying "WHAT?, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WHAT? OH H*LL NO, THIS IS A JOKE. NO WAY, CAN'T BE!! COME ON? WHAT???"

lol
