Well, my runners and buffs don't lay much when they are out in the 30F temperatures. We got one egg yesterday, one the day before and none so far today.
Their bodies are working to stay warm, and it takes alot of energy to make an egg. It makes sense that staying warm is more important than laying eggs. She may come up with an egg or two this fall or winter, but I would not ask her to risk her life. Lord willing, spring will be back in a few months. Okay, several months.
