How Long Does It Take To Tell A Female Turkey From A Male?

Thank you I was thinking the same thing but I haven't raised turkeys since I was about 13 and that was many many years ago. I was thinking the males get that wire thing coming out their chest.
She is a sweet girl and does not like me giving attention to any of my other feathered friends.

Newbie here, what exactly is the snood? I have 6 royal palm poults that are about 7 weeks old. This is my first time ever with turkey. I have no idea what I have, just trying to learn a little here. Thanks!
