Hi Im new to this chicken hatching thing, and I started hatching six eggs in a homemade incubator for a school project. Today, on day twenty three, one of them started making a crack, then a hole. It was at it for a while, then it stopped. Does this mean its tired, and will start to hatch again later? Or is it over? I can see some movement once in a while, but overall not too much.

Sometimes it can take twenty four hours for the chick to fully hatch! It's probably tired so give it some time. Best of luck!

Thanks so much! I was really worried

And also do they hatch at different times? because the other five have no movement.
