How long does shipping from Ideal take to North Texas?

I live in NW Oklahoma and they got here the next day . They arrived in the morning around 7.

I live in Virginia, so my chicks took 2 days to get here.

The main piece of advice I have is to go to your Post office, and talk to them. Just tell them that you're expecting chicks, and they'll give you a ring as soon as they come in. The lady at my PO said she'd even call before they officially opened if they came in that early. I gave them my business card with my contact info, and they really appreciated that I had it all written out for them.

I order regularly from Ideal and am located very rurally south of Houston. I get mine in two days, with no problems. The Post Office calls me at 7 a.m. to pick them up.
