How long does the average chicken live?

OMG, I have 28 - 5 week old girls - I think I will be happy when their egg production drops - I fear I am looking at well over a dozen eggs a day once they hit their peak production?

I really only wanted 6 chicky girls, but I started down this road too late for the feed stores to have them in stock, and the hatcheries all had a 25 min order - and Welp sent me 29 (one died on day 2 of unknown reasons)... and so now I have 28 babies!

Question: If production drops to 5/6 week during their second laying season, how much does it drop for subsequent seasons and at what point do they just stop laying?

Thanks in advance for all your help - it's been 20 years since I've had chickens, and I've never raised them from babies before.
