How long for supplemental light to work

if im the cause af this, im sorry im not saying i have a prob with the lights, im hopping to get some meat goats and make a small farm here on my lake, i just let the birds do their thing, because right now i can buy eggs, ,i cant always, but if ya need em go for it , i was given these birds i have now and wasnt even ready fori them i like silkies now i have sexlinks, i cant complain, good luck with your birds
