How Long is Too Long to Wait?

Hi
This is my first hatch. I admit I am very nervous too. On day 20 I heard one or two of my eggs peeping. Then I heard nothing. They are Black Copper Marans and I have followed all the instructions for hatching. Today is Starting Day 22. Should I be worried? Is there anything I can do? I appreciate any help and advice!!

The best thing you can do is make sure the temps and humidity are where they need to be, and then find something to keep you busy.

Really. If they're meant to make it, they will make it on their own.

Black coppers and wheaton marans can hatch as late as late 23rd day. I hatch them and I have never had them hatch early. Mine first one didnt pip till late day 22 and most pipped on day 23. Also I had other eggs that pipped and hatched before they even started. Do not open the bator until day 24. If they died in the egg nothing you can do anyway and a few more days isnt going to make a difference. If they dont pip or something after 24 days then I would candle to see if they have pipped membrane and see if you can see any movement.

What was your temp and hum day 1-18 ? What was your hum day 18-21 ??
