How long (roo question)

till my 17 week old roo is no longer scared of my year and a half old hens?
I'm about to switch their names to Bossy 1 and Bossy 2. They dominate everything from the coop and roosting to treats and food. They're not mean - just chase he and my other EE away.

He is still young at that age, as he matures he will show the hens who is boss.

I agree with Tuff. It's kinda funny to watch the looks on hens faces the first time the young roo does "man up" and gives the hens a what for.

he's tiptoeing around it now. I throw out treats and he comes half way towards them and then back off.
I hope he's a particularly nice rooster rather than a PITB.
