how long should I leave the poults with my hen?

She seems quite content to shepard her brood and keep them out of trouble. I was wondering should I leave them together or seperate them after a while. I have the hen and 10 poults and 2 chicks in a cover enclosure and they seem very happy. Not sure how long to make momma hen deal with her poults, any suggestions?

I let mama decide, but in my coop, mamas raise chicks in with the flock. When she is through with them, she will start chasing them away and get on the roost. I've read of hens getting upset if chicks are removed before they're ready for them to "leave home."
