How long till a chick can walk steadily around without falling?

Hi about how long does it take a chick to walk without falling over? This chick was rescued from its shell yesterday after great advice from one of your users..and I was wondering if him walking around very wobbly after 12 hours is normal? Chick was very big so he could not zip the shell on his own.

If you had to intervene, it is probably a little weak. Usually they sleep alot for the first day or two and then start running everywhere.

I would give it another day or two. Make sure the little one is eating and drinking though.

Sometimes though, there is a reason why the chick cannot get out of the shell, it is either too weak or there is an abnormality.
