That's the funny part i've been trying to get him to eat and drink on his own but he refuses the other one took to it like crazy after the first day (even attacking my finger at times lol). I've been trying to prompt him regularly but to no avail. So if he won't eat on his own i take him out and give him a yolk water and sugar solution. And yes the bedding is paper towels with food all over it and i even made sure to grind it finely. So i'm not sure whats going on. I really hope he survives this ordeal.

The 2 that hatched took about 8 hrs between moving and pipping and roughly 14 to 15 hrs after pipping to start zipping. That's what i don't understand though the other eggs have been moving for 24 with no pips at all. The humidity has been the same and so has the temp.

He's still peeping like crazy and the other chick is picking on him unfortunately. I'm just not sure how to help him he's so tiny that i feel like i'm going to break him. *sigh* It's almost like loosing a child sometimes.

It was shaking pretty good the first night but not like it did zipping. By my estimation it was front to back and side to side about 1/10 of an inch going to one side so 2/10 rocking both ways. It was really decent movement and i see it in a very few of my other eggs. I think they've been moving too long without pipping. But i'm no expert this is my first hatch since 5th grade 14 years ago. This forum has been invaluable though there's lots and lots of info to be found if you just look.

I think we Accidentally drowned the rest of the eggs. Oh well another learning experience albeit a sad one. We'll get more eggs or find a supplier with chicks and try to get a few more to keep the 2 that did hatch company. That if if the little one makes it passed the impacted craw.
