How long till..

My chicken was kinda attacked by a friends dog. The dog got ahold of my poor cochins tail feathers and a good many got ripped out. She hid under my house for an hour before dashing back to the coop. That was 2 weeks ago and ever since she hasnt laid an egg...Until yesterday.
But the egg she laid was very weak. The shell was thin and was fused very well. It was actually pretty weird..

How long till her eggs strengthen up again?

What are you feeding your chickens? Is she getting enough calcium?

The stress from the attack may have interrupted her usual eating habits.

I havent changed anything with her feed. I think shes just getting back into the swing of laying..
