How long to leave ducklings with them?

I see. I guess she's spent enough time on them to know. That makes it very difficult. I agree with having to wait it out. Any chance you have a camera in the coop to keep an eye on her? Maybe she'll do better this time, but then again, maybe not. I don't envy your position and hope it all works out well with lots of ducklings and wonderful mama hens

I can't think of anyone off the top of my head thats hatched ducklings under a chicken but I know there are many people. Hopefully they'll pop in and advise

Not yet. Now that I'm making money, I plan on buying a camera for it as recently ended up with a stray or feral cat that keeps attempting to get in.

If you can't change your thread title, I'd ask an admin to change it for you. Include that a bad mama hen is sitting on duck eggs in title somehow and hopefully folks with experience will chime in
