Hi BYC'ers, one of my pullets has a broken toe from an encounter with a coyote. We lost one but Tiny survived. She is fine except for a broken toe, right around the first joint. It is a little swollen and I have put a splint on to immobilize it. How long should I leave the splint on for it to heal completely? Thanks. Should I be doing anyting else? She is eating and drinking, and seems to have recovered from the shock. Thanks in advance.
