How Long to Use Ivermectin For?

Hi,

We have a pullet that we suspect is partaking in vermiculture (we think she could have a case of the worms). We're going to get some injectable-form Ivermectin for all the girls (and boys-gulp), but we don't know how long we use it for to kick this vermiculture hobby in the rear end....how long does it take for it to work before you can stop using it?

If they were mine, I would use fenbendazole 10%, sold as Safeguard or Panacur (liquid or paste) in the horse and cattle section of most feed stores. I give it at 50mg/kg (that's 0.50 cc for every 2.2 pounds of body weight) by mouth and repeat in ten days.
