How long to wait for fertilized eggs?

I am hopefully getting 4 EE hens from an uncle and I have a rooster that I am getting rid of that I would like to keep with them to hatch a few new ones out with. I am wondering how long he needs to be with the hens until they start popping out fertilized eggs. Then I can let the buyer know when I can deliver him.
