How Long To Wait ??

Hey there this is my first attempt and hatching quail.. a friend gave me nine texas a&m eggs , Tuesday was day 14 so they went into lockdown and 2 hatched on thursday which was day 16 and the other 7 are still in the hatcher no more have moved.. temp has been at 99.1 to 99.8 and humidity has been a constant 70% since lockdown . its now going on to day 19 , i have tossed one whick was clear but the other 6 all are dark and look good . just wondering how much longer i should give them . thanks for any help anyone can give me..

Wait until day 21 for coturnix! You still have plenty of time to get a good hatch!

Well thanks for the input folks . i waited till today to check . out of the 7 left five were just quitters it looked llike and two had fully formed chicks in them but were dead .. man i tried to do everything by what i have learned on here.. had two thermometers in the bator and both were at 99 to 99.8 and humidity was at 40 to 44 and put them in hatcher on day 14 with temp at 99 and humidity at 72 to 74 if i did something wrong here let me know... thanks

70% humidity is pretty high IMO. I keep humidity at 50-60% for quail. The fully formed and DIS (dead in shell) could have drowned in the shell from humidity. THere are many factors for early deads, sometimes it just happens.
