How long to wait?

I know it's the same old question, but I have a slightly different twist. I just "acquired" 17 hens from 2 different flocks. I was assuered by both previous owners that they were laying regularly. I am getting 2-3 eggs per day. My question would be, How long before they settle down and start doing their thing again? I understand that the stress from moving, and new surroundings, and new flock mates, would slow them down. I have had them for just over a week. Also, they were free ranging and I have them in a 8 x 12 coop with a similar sized outside run.

Any help/ ideas would be greatly appreciated

It usually takes hens about a week to settle in sometimes longer.
