How long until these guys lay??

One more question, do they eventually stop squatting or do they continue? My 2 older hens that have been laying for a couple of months still squat just not as much.
Mine who have squatted before they lay, have always squatted from then on. This is just them showing us they've reached maturity and are ready to be mated. It is also because they are showing you that you have dominance over them and may think that you are their 'rooster'.

They will continue to squat (for mating purposes) as long as they're actively laying /close to resuming laying. So when they're molting or near molt, or not laying for the winter, they're unlikely to squat.
