How long will a hatched chick survive in the incubator?

If mine just hatched, and it's the only egg that will hatch, I plan on leaving it in for 24 hours. During those 24 hours, should I take off the two red plugs to increase air circulation? Can the humidity go back to 50% now instead of 80%? Like what humidity does the chick need now that it's out and chillin?

Yup, you can bring the humidity right down now. They only need it high for hatching. As soon as my last chick is out I either pull out my water trays or turn off my humidity pump, that way they dry off and fluff up faster. And obviously you also don't need to worry about drops in your temp now either...

Weird.

I took the chicks out like half an hour after they hatched and not all the eggs had pipped and humidity was 25-30% the whole time.Only 2 wrong end pippers but they hatched just fine and only one had shrinkwrapped but i helped it out and now its fine.

I hatched 12 out of 14.

For me humidity is a myth.

I was really anxious from you guys saying humidity should be over 60% and i could not get it over 30% but I got excellent results.
