I'm new with the whole rooster and fertilized egg routine so please bear with me.
I got my hen and roos last Saturday. She was in with five roosters and had several eggs but we didn't take them. I think they said eight. If the old owners let us have them, would they still be okay to try and hatch them out? We now have her seperated with just the Cuckoo silkie roo. How long does it take before we know any fertilized eggs are his?
Would just the dominant rooster have bred her or any of them when she was with all five?
How often will a hen let a rooster breed her?
Should we leave any eggs she lays with her to see if she'll hatch them or take them out?
