How long will it take?????

I had one of my 2 week old chicks to get her tail feathers plucked out last night. I have confined her from the others and have medicated the tail area.

My question is....How long will I need to keep her confined and how long will it take tail feathers to grow back?

The tail feathers will come in with her "adult" feathering...

I have a hen with the same problem. Someone pulled several tail feathers out the other day before we bought her at a sale. We didn't notice it until after we got her. I put purple stuff on her bottom and it looks much better! No one is picking at her, but her little bum looks funny. Any idea how long it will take for her feathers to grow back?
