How long?

We have two turkeys, a male and a female.
And I was just wondering,
How long until they are about fully grown?
Depending on the variety (broad breasted or heritage), they are physically adults by the time they are 6 months old. Fully grown can take up to 2 years for a heritage variety while the broad breasted varieties can be processed by 4 to 6 months old.

here you will find your information. if You read the part underneath “Modern Turkeys” you will probably find your answer. It depends slightly on the breed
The link that you provided is about broad breasted turkeys in Australia and contains false information.

All domestic turkeys are the breed Turkey. There are many varieties of turkeys but only the one breed.

Their claim that the broad breasted varieties are a hybrid is completely false. Broad breasted varieties are made by some companies by crossing different lines of the same variety of turkey and are therefore selectively bred but are definitely not hybrids.
