I know, it is very slow, guess it's worth the wait though. My chick won't show me any more then the beak the moment.
How exciting, how many will that make in total??

Totally worth the wait!
They've got their head out, but still sitting in the bottom of the shell.
It makes 5 so far.
8 more eggs left. 6 with external pips.

Nope, mine look just the same.

Yeah mine have all unzipped in 20 minutes. But it took 12 hours or more from external pip to zip.

Ahh bugger.. hopefully soon!

I meant that they each took 20 mins to unzip. I still have 7 eggs left, 5 with external pips. 6 chicks hatched so far.

That's pretty good, no doubt they are all very sleepy after the hard work.
Well done on your new additions, you must be a good mother!!
Hopefully won't be much longer.... it's about 11 hours since the first external pip and about 6 hours since the second external pip, the second one is still rocking quite a bit while the other is very still
Guess I'm just to impatient. They will come when they are ready...

First one out and squawking!!!!!

After a little over 12 hours from pip it started to zip, the zip took no more then 15 minutes. I guess it was quite a quick hatch really, I have just forgot how long it takes since it is so long since I have done a hatch.
Thanks for your help, know for the next four.
How's the one that piped in the wrong spot??? Sorted himself out yet???
