how loud does a silkie crow?

My roo is the loudest and most irritating. He sounds like a sick cow.

Our silkie seems to be the same in volume - but he has a much better timer! He sleeps thru the night and is not much for crowing in the dark. Our mix roos will crow if they hear us in the house at night. It is really hard to pee in the dark so you don't wake the roosters up

but when you flush - up they come and the crowing starts. Darn Roos! Ricky Roo will get up when we come home late - but he will go back to bed when we go thru the door - he is a good roo roo

Depends on how far I have the volume turned up on my hearing aid !

Hi,

I have Silkie hens but I don't have a roo. However, I heard my friend's Silkie roo crow and it was unbelieveably LOUD! Maybe other bantam roos are quieter, but this one sure wasn't! Genie
