So let me get this straight - birds in general act like immature and spoiled 15 year old who complain that their parents wont buy them a BMW motorcyle for their birthday.
No, they act like small, whiny children with the added trouble of wanting to hump literally everything for five months of the year.

I prefer animals than people. Animals in nature dont create nuclear weapons and start global wars.
No, but several are quite prone to cannibalism.
And flying into your face and trying to claw your eyes out because they're the only bird in the residence and so have nobody to mate with or to be mated by.

We have 2 neighborhoods that each have 1 Peacock. One is named Mr. P. The neighbors got together and petitioned the city council to have their neighborhoods rezoned as bird sanctuaries so the peacocks could continue to live there. Everyone takes care of them, but nobody claims them. :lau

This is not what we are here to debate. We are, by the title of your thread, here to talk about how loud a single peafowl can be.
Yes.

Answer to question: Loud, very loud. They make horrifying noises. You would probably injure your hearing organ if one screeched in your ear.

End of story :D

115 decibels is not that loud. I think most owners of peafowl are just too dramatic about the noise level.
I thought it was 114.
I don't think it's the volume people get anoyed with, It's the call itself.
We used to have them free ranging in our neighborhood and you could hear them from a mile away. Morning, evening, even at night sometimes. There's no way I'd ever get one, purely because of the noise
