How many chickens can I have in my coop/run?

Assuming all 17(?) survive and are kept, doubling the size of the coop should work out for that amount of birds. Even if you have some losses/roos culled, the extra space will still be appreciated by the birds you do keep.

That's where I am right now.
I am thinking, even if I don't get more and stick with the 13... and all survive... increasing from 36 sq. ft to 84 sq. ft might not be a terrible idea...
It will cost me about $750 or so.

Peace in the flock is always well worth it IMO!
