How many chickens can I have in my coop?

So I have a coop that is 13.5 x 5.5 and is open to about 10 foot tall. The connecting run is 24 x 14. I also let my chickens free range for at least half a day. What do you think is the max number of chickens I can comfortably keep? Thanks!

18.5 for the coop and 33.5 for the run is standard especially if you have snow for winter. If your in a warmer climate and they have access to the run all year, you can fit more in your coop.

Coop-4 square feet per chicken
Run- 10 square feet per chicken

The run is 28X6 and 8 feet tall= 168 sq feet. I currently have 12 chicks but would ideally like to have 6 more. Can my coop/run handle 18?

My chicks are all about 3-4 wks old right now...I know once they get bigger they will likely bully any new chicks. Any thoughts on the age age range that I can safely introduce new chicks?

I have a 4 by 8 coop with a 8 by 10 run. My chickens are never turn loose. I have 10 hens and a rooster. Is this too much? Im new to having chickens so any info is appreciated. Thanks

ideally..16.................2 more might be OK..DON'T KNOW THE SIZE OF YOUR CHICKENS

I would think sometime after they are off the lights..................It is touchy to try to predict.
If you type integrating chickens in the search..there will be many ideas....good luck

OK........10 x 8 = 80 sq. feet divide by 10=. 8 chickens............
4x8=32 sq. feet divided by 4= 8
You are a little over....... I would just watch to be sure they are not pecking on each other....
overcrowding can cause picking on each other but....maybe it will work for you..........
